Dear Lois, On behalf of my wife, Emily, and I, we would like to extend our deepest condolences to and your family on the passing away of Bob. I started teaching physical education in Janesville in 1965. Even though Bob and I taught in different schools, Marshall and Franklin, I got to know Bob as a wonderful person and teacher. After Bob was transferred to Craig H. S., I really got to know him. He was someone who loved teaching but loved knowing and interacting with young people even more. I know there are countless students that have great memories of being taught by Bob Altmann.
