EVANSVILLE, WI-- Conner William Schweder, age 14, of Evansville, formerly of Rice Lake, Orfordville and Janesville Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 30th 2020 in Evansville Wisconsin. He was born in Madison Wisconsin on Dec. 28th, 2005. He is the beloved son of Kevin William Schweder and Robin Schweder and the best friend and brother of Madelyn Marie Schweder.
Conner was a middle school student in Evansville. He enjoyed video gaming, basketball, soccer, water sports and "kickin-it" with his friends and sister. Madelyn noted that she was often the recipient of her brother’s long-lasting hugs, which didn’t end until things were better. Being silly with his sister while shopping in stores, sharing go-cart driving experiences, listening to his laugh, and his natural ability to make friends with anyone are some of his sister Madelyn’s fondest memories.
Madelyn and Conner enjoyed trips to the Mall of America, Lego Land, the Aquarium, Nickelodeon Universe, numerous lakes to fish and swim, bowling, roller skating, amusement and waterparks, Rice Lake area motorsports, drive-in movies, restaurants, fireworks displays, Aqua Fest, Barron County Fair, Maranatha and Red Cedar church activities, snowtubing and fall color viewing at Christy Mountain, Hayward area go-carts, The Wilderness Walk, mini-golf, Tremblay’s Candy Store and Lake Holcomb area camping and watersports.
Conner was a 4-H member, excellent athlete, nature lover and outdoor enthusiast. He excelled at things like shooting sports, hitting a fastball, kicking a goal and making a cast with a fishing pole. He was extremely funny, gifted, talented and overly compassionate.
Those who were fortunate enough to have known Conner personally were privileged. Those who did not know him personally and will no longer be able to, were cheated of one God's greatest miracles. His genuine concern for his fellow human being was beyond inspiring. Conner was unfortunately taken away much too early. While God's kingdom gained a gentle little giant, those who knew him will miss and mourn their loss.
Conner William Schweder was laid to rest at the City of Evansville’s Maple Hill Cemetery. Due health and gathering restrictions, full funeral-memorial services were unable to be offered. There may be a formal memorial service in the future. While offers of condolences, prayers and support have been plentiful, Conner’s extended family and friends who have not had the opportunity to “say goodbye” or share memories are encouraged to do so by email:
While Conner’s death continues to be investigated, please cooperate with authorities and do not hesitate to ask questions or provide information you think maybe help prevent a similar tragedy. Remember to support anti-bullying and better wellbeing of children however possible. In order to ensure a positive tomorrow, the welfare of children today is the responsibility of all.

I will never forget how big your head was when you were little and how you slowly grew into it. You were a wild child at the family reunions and you were covered in snow cone syrup from head to toe. Every time I saw you, you checked to see what your height was compared to mine and man when you were taller than me I never heard the end of it. I'm so glad that I've gotten to see you more over the last year. They are cherished memories and cherished hugs that you gave me.
Fly high Connor!
Love Aunt Kris
